Stefan Knapp is an artist whose life and creativity continue to inspire and delight – both in Poland and in the world. Thanks to a series of recordings collected on this website, we have a unique opportunity to travel through the most important events related to him.
In the films you will find, among others, an account of the opening of the exhibition at the Museum of Biłgoraj Land, where the centennial anniversary of the artist's birth was celebrated. You will also see materials documenting the activities of youth and schools, which, as part of educational projects, brought Knapp closer to his character to other generations. It is worth to stop at the recording with Knapp Day in Toruń or Olsztyn, where there were panels and meetings filled with talk about art, memory and history.
There will also be more personal materials – like an interview with Stefan Knapp himself during his exhibition in France in 1994. You can also watch archive videos about the formation of murals, television reports, and documents showing the unique technique of enamel on metal, which has become its hallmark.
